Trouble with falling asleep and staying asleep is a common struggle that many people face at some point in their lives. Quality of sleep becomes greatly diminished for various reasons including toxins in the body (especially the liver), negative memories, emotions, and traumas, as well as hormone imbalances and nutritional deficiencies.
Turning to pharmaceutical pills can be habit forming and have unwanted side effects. But natural effective methods, such as essential oils do exist. Let’s take a look at which essential oils help with sleep.
Lavender Essential Oil- Calming & Relaxing
Lavender essential oil is useful for insomnia and other sleep disorders. It can improve the quality of your sleep. Lavender essential oil has a calming and relaxing effect on the body, both physically and emotionally.

To use topically, for sleep purposes, rub 2-4 drops on the bottom of the feet before bed, or 1-2 drops on the temples and back of neck. Another option, to help you sleep, would be to rub a drop of lavender on your palms and, then, smooth it onto your pillow. Dilution of lavender essential oil is not required.
